Feast on Beasts

A panorama of porcine palate-pleasers, we proudly present... Pork!

A-PORK-A-LYPSE NOW!

What's not to love about pigs... on platters?

In short, pork delights us with it’s versatility, taste, textures all of that but the swine of the world also gift us enticing variations as they, as species, vie for taste buds’ affections: pork crackling, bacon, ham, ribs (wow), pulled pork, chops… who’d have thought pork could be mean so much to so many?

In paying tribute to pork and the joy that it brings to feasts ranging from breakfasts through to late night snacks, here at FoB, we often create entrees featuring the pork loin and whole lot of crackling. What better way to usher in the majesty of the glamour meats than with the crunch and flavour of the other (other) white meat?

Whilst Johnno has a victory to his name in a KCBS sanctioned competition in the pork category, it’s Train’s ability to bend the laws of physics to his will by producing moist portions of porcine finger food capped with a crunchy canopy of crackling on the grill that poses more questions than it answers… “but how?” being the first one. That’s a story for another time.

But for now, let’s settle in for another viewing of “A-pork-alypse Now!” but this time it’s…

Let's talk pork...

"A-pork-a-lypse Now!" - the director's cut in glorious porky pictures... and, scene!
